There, Heng\u2019s current exhibition is entitled, \u2018After Asphodel\u2019. Asphodel is a plant often associated with death. In the Greek Underworld, the Asphodel Meadow\u2014a liminal space\u2014is where souls are sent to live after death. In producing the works exhibited, Heng is seeking to understand Christian eschatology\u2014what Christians understand to be \u2018the end of times\u2019.
