About the Fair
Hong Kong—Pearl Lam Galleries will participate in Art Basel in Hong Kong for the seventh time in 2019 with a presentation of works by leading contemporary artists from across the globe that reflects its commitment to fostering cross-cultural exchange.
Stand 1D16, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre
Pearl Lam Galleries’ stand in the prestigious Galleries sector of the show will feature artworks by important international artists including American artist Robert Motherwell (b. 1915–d. 1991); British artists Antony Micallef (b. 1975) and Peter Peri (b. 1971); Brazilian artist José Patrício (b. 1960); Chinese artists Su Xiaobai (b. 1949) and Zhu Jinshi (b. 1954); and Korean artists Chun Kwang Young (b. 1944) and Hoon Kwak (b. 1941). The presentation will also include works by Leonardo Drew (b. 1961) and Zhou Yangming (b. 1971), whose solo exhibitions with the Galleries will be on view concurrently.
Meanwhile, the Galleries will open two solo exhibitions during the week of the fair at its Hong Kong spaces: one by American artist Leonardo Drew at the flagship Pedder Building gallery and another by Chinese artist Zhou Yangming at the H Queen’s gallery.
